1. Who we are
DueVault is provided by Techwave Innovations (“we”, “us” or “our”). Privacy questions can be sent to support@techwaveinnovations.co.uk.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the DueVault iOS and iPadOS app and this website. Apple separately governs the App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, device backups, notifications, Face ID, Touch ID and device passcode services.
3. Information you choose to store
Depending on how you use DueVault, the app may handle:
- Names and categories for subscriptions, insurance, warranties, contracts, licences, passports and other renewal or expiry items.
- Renewal, expiry and cancellation dates; reminder timing; recurrence; status and history.
- Estimated costs, currency, provider details, reference numbers, websites, contact details and notes.
- Documents, images, screenshots, receipts, policies and warranty files that you choose to attach.
- Preferences such as notification time, default reminder days, currency, app lock and iCloud sync choice.
You control what you enter. Avoid storing information that is not needed for your own renewal management.
4. Local storage
DueVault stores its main records in the app’s protected storage on your device. Attached files are copied into protected app storage. This lets the app work without an account and without sending records to a Techwave Innovations server.
Deleting DueVault normally removes its local app data. If you have no usable Apple device backup or synced metadata, deleted local records and attachments may not be recoverable.
5. Optional iCloud sync
If you enable iCloud sync, DueVault mirrors encoded renewal metadata through Apple’s private iCloud key-value store associated with your Apple ID. Attached document files are not uploaded by DueVault’s sync feature and remain on the device where they were added.
- Sync is optional and can be switched off in Settings.
- We do not operate an admin console for browsing your private iCloud records.
- Apple’s availability, retention, security and account terms apply to iCloud.
- Switching sync off stops future app sync but may not immediately remove information already held by Apple under your account.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles payment details, billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds and purchase history. DueVault receives verified product and entitlement information needed to decide whether access is active. We do not receive your full payment-card or bank details.
7. Notifications
If you give permission, DueVault schedules local notifications for renewal, expiry and cancellation dates. Notification content may appear on your lock screen according to your iOS settings. You can disable notifications in DueVault or in system settings.
8. Photos and files
DueVault uses Apple’s system photo picker and file picker when you choose to attach an image or document. It receives only the items you select. Imported content is copied into the app’s private storage. If you later export or share a file, the destination you choose controls what happens to that copy.
9. App lock
If you enable app lock, DueVault asks iOS to authenticate you using Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode. Biometric templates and the device passcode are handled by Apple and are not provided to DueVault or Techwave Innovations.
10. Website and support
This static website may be hosted through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process standard network and security data such as IP address, browser type, request time and requested page to deliver and protect the site. We do not add advertising cookies or behavioural analytics.
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you include. We use them to respond, investigate the issue, prevent abuse and maintain a support record where reasonably necessary.
11. How information is used
Information is processed to save and display your records, calculate upcoming deadlines and costs, schedule requested reminders, show attached documents, sync metadata when enabled, verify subscription access, protect the app and answer support requests.
12. What we do not do
- We do not sell DueVault records or support messages.
- We do not use app records for advertising or cross-app tracking.
- We do not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the current app.
- We do not require a Techwave Innovations account for the current app.
13. Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them, use “Delete all data”, or remove the app. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed for support, security, legal and business record purposes. Apple controls retention for StoreKit, iCloud and device backups.
You can edit or delete records in the app, disable iCloud sync and notifications, or use the deletion control in Settings. For privacy assistance, contact support.
14. Security
DueVault uses Apple app sandboxing, iOS data protection, StoreKit verification and optional device-owner authentication. No method of storage is guaranteed to be completely secure. Keep your device, passcode and Apple ID protected, and take care when exporting files.
15. Children
DueVault is a general life-administration tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly operate a service intended to collect children’s personal information.
16. International processing and legal rights
Apple, Cloudflare and email providers may process information in countries where they operate, subject to their safeguards. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal information held by us. Most app data is controlled directly on your device.
17. Changes
We may update this policy when features, service providers or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will remain available here.
